What does Younger Onset Dementia Mean?
Definitions vary around the the world. In England they use the term Young not Younger.
Younger Onset is defined in Australia as any person under the age of 65 who is diagnosed as having any form of dementia. Other countries it is known as Young Onset Dementia
Early-onset defines the stage of the disease. Example. An eighty year old can have dementia but it is in the early stage (onset) of the disease.
